Plan Your Trip To Israel Ahead with Gideon
Day 1
Arrive to Israel. I welcome you at the airport, we travel to your hotel, overnight in Tel-Aviv.
Day 2.
Depart Tel-Aviv and drive along the Castle road to Caesarea, explore the outstanding Roman and Crusader ruins, including the impressive theater, Hippodrome, and the Palace, built by King Harrods more than 2,000 years ago. This is the city where St. Paul was arrested and sent to Rome.
See the old port, and the Aqueduct.
Continue to Haifa and see the World Center of the Bahias‘ and the Persian garden.
Drive to Nazareth and visit Mary the Virgin’s house and the amazing Annunciation Church, and Joseph’s house, the town where Jesus spent his youth.
Continue to Kenna, the place where Jesus preformed the first miracle, by converting water into wine.
Overnight in Tiberius
Day 3.
Drive north of Sea of Galilee and visit Mount Beautitude, location of the Sermon on the Mount, continue to Capernaum, Jesus’ town and St. Peter’s home, visit the old Synagogue.
On to Tabqa, the place of the Multiplication Miracle, where Jesus fed 4,000 people with only two fish and five loaves of bread.
Visit Yardenit, the Baptismal site on the Jordan River, you’ll have time to Baptize if you wish, continue along the Jordan Valley River and parallel the longest border with Jordan, past Jericho and arrive to Jerusalem. overnight in Jerusalem
Day 4.
Drive to Mount Olives for a great view of Jerusalem, the Old New City. Visit Garden of Gethsemane, the place where Jesus spent the last night, drive to Mount Zion and visit King David’s tomb, and the room of the Last Supper, the upper room. Enter the Old City through Zion gate and walk along the Armenian Quarter, the Muslim Quarter, to the Jewish Quarter and visit the Cardo, Jerusalem’s street of 2,000 years ago, then to the Kotel, the Western wall, following Jesus’ steps along Via Dolorosa to Golgotha and Holy Sepulcher, the tomb of Jesus. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 5.
Drive trough Jeddah Mountain and along the Dead Sea shore to Masada, ascend and descend by cable car to this last stronghold of the Zealots in their struggle against the Romans. Visit the excavation, Herrods the Great palaces, Synagogue and bathhouse.
An opportunity to enjoy an “unsinkable” Dead Sea water experience in the Dead Sea, time for floating and lunch. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 6.
Morning, optional Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, see the stable and the star of Bethlehem, drive to Yad Vashem, to visit the memorial of the Holocaust: visit the Museum, the children’s pavilion, walk along the Avenue of the Righteous, drive to Israel Museum and see the Shrine of the Book, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls, see the Scale model of Ancient Jerusalem. Drive through the Keneset, the Israeli Parliament. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 7.
Departure, transfer to the airport
